Climate change is the greatest challenge facing mankind. It threatens biodiversity in flora and fauna, destabilizes ecosystems. It will change our way of life.

Science ascribes the global rise of temperature during the last century to an increased concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This change is accounted for by burning of fossil fuels (primarily oil, natural gas, black coal and lignite) as part of the industrialization process.
